We took a train to
Lucerne today to meet up with cruising friends for last time before they head home.
Three from our group departed for home or
Paris this morning.
We took a boat ride on
Lake Lucerne to Vitznau where we walked around for a little while and had wonderful pastries before heading back to
Lucerne for lunch and visiting the
Dying Lion Monument and the famous covered bridge.
We then said our goodbyes to the 6 left in
Lucerne as they are heading to
Zurich and home in the next day or 2.
The 6 of us in the Lake Brienz Chalet headed “home” after another fun day even though it was overcast.
