Day 13: Switzerland

The ship arranged taxis to the train station and we had a nice 1.5 hour ride to Brienz, Switzerland where 6 of us have rented a chalet on Lake Brienz.  The chalet is right on the lake, across the street from the boat and train station and has a grocery store just around the corner.  Because of the holiday weekend and store closings on Easter Sunday and their Monday holiday we take care of getting groceries then take a scenic boat ride on Lake Brienz to Interlaken while waiting on check-in time.  We did get to leave our luggage in the storage room and take groceries in the house.  The lake is just as beautiful as when Tim and I visited a couple years ago—the most beautiful colored water we have ever seen and at the foot of the Alps!  We had dinner in tonight then a little R&R time before early to bed for big day tomorrow.
