Day 14: Sunday drive…to the hallowed St. Andrews

Today is Tim’s much anticipated day.  We are going to the sacred grounds where golf originated 650 years ago….the Old Course at St Andrews.  We meet the guide at 11 behind the 18th green and have a nice tour of the 1st, 17th, and 18th green.  We walked in the footsteps of golf’s greatest players and had a player’s eye view of the fabled links.  We had lunch in the Clubhouse and Tim bought an official St Andrews shirt in the gift shop. Check, Check, Check for him!  It was a wonderful day starting with a beautiful sunrise and ending with a fantastic meal at our B&B followed by a nice chat and laughs over coffee with the owners and other guest in the living room.
