Day 12: Jacobite Express train ride

We had breakfast at our B&B in Spean Bridge this morning then we off to Ft William about 10 miles away for the very scenic Jacobite train ride.

This train was a vintage steam train that went over the viaduct in the Harry Potter movies. The scenery was breathtaking even though it was overcast with a couple light, short showers along the way. It was a roundtrip ride to Mallaig, a costal fishing village with a couple hours before the return trip so we had a lovely seafood lunch while there then we had a wonderful dinner tonight at Russell’s just down the road from the B&B. Definitely a great food day and we are all stuffed!
