Day 10: Day Tripper…….Liverpool

You ever wake up thinking it is going to be a Beatles kind of Day? We sure did today.

Roll Over Beethoven ……er, Janice and Wayne, it’s time to get up. You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away this morning. It’s been A Hard Day’s Night. I Should Have Known Better than to open your bedroom door because you Act Naturally, Any Time At All.

Guess what? Last night I had a dream about Teresa being here with us. She Came In Through the Bathroom Window singing I Am The Walrus!

We had breakfast with our Beatle guide Jackie and then we were off.

Well, once again we are embarking on a Magical Mystery Tour. I always knew we would Get Back, and now it won't be long. Yesterday we were anticipating The Long and Winding Road and today This Boy has a Ticket To Ride in Liverpool. Here Comes the Sun and it is a very Good Day Sunshine. We are in search of all things Beatles and it is Something. I'll remember this feeling like a Little Child even When I’m Sixty Four. Today, I don’t have to Drive My Car, we’re with Jackie, Ain't She Sweet. I knew we would have a good tour the last time as soon as I Saw Her Standing There. So we have Come Together for A Day in the Life of the Beatles. We will go Here, There and Everywhere in search of Michelle, Eleanor Rigby, Lady Madonna, an Octopus's Garden, catch a show by Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, drive down Penny Lane, go down by the river looking for a Yellow Submarine and Hey, Jude might even be around. We hope to see a Norwegian Wood, look up for Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, and of course, we'll remember Strawberry Fields Forever. The emotions run wild seeing the historical areas. Sometimes I feel like a Nowhere Man, or a Paperback Writer. Oh, Darling, it makes me wish there were Eight Days A Week.
