The church in San Barnaba square just behind our apartment was a pleasant suprise. They happened to have models from Leonardo di Vinci's codices on display. He was a man of many talents for sure. We learned from the exhibit that he was much more interested in engineering than art, which he did to feed himself. It was amazing the groundwork he laid for so many later inventions. Truely a great genius of all times.
